What is Kickstarter?

Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform that allows you to support a creative project’s development and success by making a monetary pledge. Through pledging, you become a backer of our project and will receive a reward according to the pledge level you choose. In this case, the reward would be our trading cards!

How to make a Kickstarter pledge.

1. Navigate to the Reward Options.

Click the “Back this project” button at the top of the campaign page or open the Rewards tab to see the available rewards.

2. Choose your Pledge Level.

Be sure to read the description of the reward levels to understand what you’ll be receiving for each option. If you have any questions, you can check the Pledge Levels section on the campaign page and the FAQ/Comments tab.

Verify all the information is correct before clicking the “Pledge” button.

 

$1 Access to Pledge Manager: If you’re unsure whether you want to pledge at this time, you can pledge for $1. This will allow you to make an order at a later date after the campaign closes on Kickstarter.

No Reward: If you don’t wish to receive a reward but still want to support the project, select the “Pledge without a reward” option and enter your desired pledge amount.

3. Select your Add-Ons

On the next page, you can add to your order with add-ons (items you can add separately from a pledge) or click ‘Skip Add-Ons’ if you’re not interested.

4. Review Your Pledge

Continue onto the Pledge Summary page. Please double-check your pledge details, including any selected add-ons and the shipping country.

5. Enter Payment Details

Then enter your payment details and check the box confirming that you understand that rewards aren’t guaranteed. To complete your pledge, click the “Pledge” button.

If you use Apple Pay, your email will be changed to an alternative Apple email address and it will be difficult to retrieve your order information.
Your card will not be charged immediately. It will only charge once the project has successfully reached its funding goal and the deadline has passed.

6. Confirmation and Next Steps

You should receive a confirmation email detailing that you are now a backer of the project.

If you didn’t reach a “Thank you!” confirmation page or you didn’t receive a confirmation email, it’s likely that your pledge did not go through and you may want to try again.

Once you have made a pledge on Kickstarter for the project, you will need to finalize your order in the pledge manager, which will open after the Kickstarter campaign ends.

What are Kickstarter Updates?

Updates are posts shared on the project’s page and if you have pledged, you will receive a notification everytime we post an update. Updates contain important information about the project and fun content about the development of the project. Make sure to read the updates to keep track of the project.
