Grand Prize Winner:

Location: Lake Hefner Lighthouse – Oklahoma City, OK

The Lake Hefner Lighthouse is a charming and iconic structure located on the shores of Lake Hefner in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Lighthouse was built in 1999 and was designed to resemble a traditional New England-style lighthouse. It stands at approximately 36 feet tall and features a classic octagonal shape with a white exterior and a red-topped lantern room.

“Sunsets in Oklahoma have always been fascinating to me with some amazing colors that it produces in the state. Lake Hefner is my favorite place to watch the sunset to watch the colors reflect on the water and clouds. Additionally, photography has been a source of therapy for me while I served in the military.”

Location: Lincoln Bridge – Chickasaw National Recreation Area, Sulfur, OK

The Lincoln Bridge, built in 1909, is one of the oldest and most iconic structures in the Chickasaw National Recreation Area. Over the years, the Lincoln Bridge has become a symbol of the area’s rich cultural and natural heritage. It represents the efforts to preserve and celebrate the natural beauty and history of Oklahoma.

Outdoors Category Winner:

Location: Turner Falls – Davis, OK

Turner Falls is renowned for its stunning 77-foot waterfall, which is the tallest in Oklahoma. The waterfall cascades into a natural swimming area surrounded by lush greenery and picturesque rock formations.

Unique Oklahoma Category Winner:

Location: Leg Lamp – Chickasha, OK

The Chickasha Leg Lamp is a unique and quirky landmark that pays homage to the famous leg lamp from the classic holiday film “A Christmas Story.” The Chickasha Leg Lamp is an impressive structure, standing 40 feet tall.

Oklahoma Art/Architecture Category Winner:

Location: State Capitol – Oklahoma City, OK

The Oklahoma State Capitol is a significant historical architectural landmark that was constructed between 1914 and 1917. Unlike many state capitols’, the original construction did not include a dome. The dome was added later and was completed in 2002.
